Was 2004 a good toy year for you?

I think so. Overall, I think there was not only so many toys with great detail and quality, but the sheer volume was a bit overwhelming. From Spawn 26, Reborn 2, Clive Barker stuff, 12" figs, Aliens, Robocop, Hicks, to Batman Hush 1, and Hasbro Batman stuff, Marvel Legends, other marvel figures, Hellboy, etc, etc. I certainly not disappointed.

What do you all think?

I'm about at the same pace as last year. I'm at $3000+ right now, and last year I ended at $3500 plus change. Some purchases were gifts but not many. [img]redface.gif[/img]

I'll say so. Hellboy, Micros, Movie Maniacs, Kill Bill, Monsters/inf.Parade, Xevoz... not as many LOTR or Marvel Legends since my Walmart sucks with those lately.
A little over a month left to go and I finally snagged a cheap VOTC Fett via Ebay to round the year out.

Pretty much the same. In fact, I've managed to save from toy expenses this year. Strictly Spawn and some cool anime figs only. No more novelty items and impulse buying shit.
